Was able to drop off donations to the Outreach House today. The final collection numbers have been posted. I will update again when the Outreach House gives me numbers from the electronic donations. The Outreach House was very grateful for all of the donations collected. In these hard times, every little bit helps. Thank you once again for helping us support such a great organization.

The time is now 10:07pm 1/1/2026. The show is over, the transmitter is shut off and the radio station shut down. I want to continue to thank everyone for making another year a success. From those who helped with setting it up to those who stopped by to enjoy it. The last song to play this year was the "Classic Christmas Radio" a collection of original Christmas song sung by the original artists. The last snip is sung by Frank Sinatra, with the last line..."and have yourself a Merry little Christmas now." My wishes to you all. See you next year. Hughes Digital Christmas.

There is just one more show left from the 2025 season. Tomorrow night from 5pm to 10pm will be the last show of the year. A last chance to get a look. Come on by for your last look.

Today marks the beginning of the end. There are only 5 more nights of the 2025 show. The last night will be New Year's night. 1/1/2026. If you have not had a chance to see us this year, you still have time. If you have been here and want to see it again, come on out. The show starts every night a 5pm and will run until 10pm.

Received final numbers from the Outreach House today. There was an additional $120 in electronic donations. This brings the total cash donations to $406. Many thanks come from the Outreach House for all of your help!!!

Due to continued damage from all the rain, I am shutting down Hughes Digital Christmas one day early. So this means that last night, New Years Eve, was the final performance of the 2024 HDC show.

The radio station has been shut down and I was able to get the inflatables out of the yard before even more bad weather arrives.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by to watch. Thank you for letting my creative outlet and passion bring at least a little Christmas cheer into your lives. From the random yells and honks we got, I know you enjoyed it.

In these hard times we raised $286 dollars in cash donations and 84.5 pound of food to be donated to the Outreach House in Lombard. I will adjust the total dollars raised when I get the report of electronic donations. They always appreciate your help.

Thank you once again for another great year. I plan to see you again for the 2025 Christmas season.

We are live! HDC 2024 is very on for the Christmas Season! Come on by and enjoy.

The radio transmitter is now on. For those of you who are in the Butterfield neighborhood you can tune in to 89.5FM during the day. I have over 35 hours of Christmas music on the playlist. So it takes almost a day and a half before you will hear the same song by the same artist repeat. It is only interrupted by a short voiceover every 20 min and of course the show when it plays. Enjoy the Holiday music!
