The Cache County Fair Adult Open Horse Show is TOMORROW, and we can't wait to see everyone in the arena!

⏰ Day-of entries close at 7:25 AM SHARP. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.

🏆 Reminder: If you're competing for High Point, Adult Showmanship is a REQUIRED class. Be sure to double-check your entries before registration closes!

Horse Show Reminders – Please Read! 🐴

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the Cache County Fair Youth & Adult Open Horse Shows! Here are a few important reminders to help your show day go smoothly:

📍 Check-In & Awards

Sign in at the Northeast corner of the Main Arena.
This is also where you'll pick up ribbons, prizes, and awards.

🌿 Trail Class

The Trail course opens at 8:00 AM in the North Arena.
You may complete your trail run any time before the trail course closes.

📋 Patterns

Patterns will be available at the sign-in table (feel free to take a picture!).
They will also be posted at the entrance to each arena.

🏆 High Point Reminder

Showmanship is REQUIRED to be eligible for High Point in both the Youth and Adult Horse Shows. Be sure you've entered Showmanship if you're competing for a High Point Award!

🎁 Prizes & Awards

Please pick up your prizes and awards promptly after results are announced.

Meet your Co-Chair, Melissa Smith!

My lifelong passion for animals has always centered on horses. Although I didn't grow up with them, I pursued that dream after high school by spending a summer working on a guest ranch in Granby, Colorado. I later earned an associate degree in Animal Science from Utah State University, with an emphasis in Equine Science and Management.

After spending several years working in the pet industry, I’ve settled into a wonderful life with my husband and three children. We enjoy working with our four mustangs we've adopted from various HMAs, having trained them for both trail riding and, more recently, horse show competition.

In addition to my equine pursuits, I have served as the chairman for the Cache County Fine Art Show for the last seven years. I am thrilled to apply that experience to this year’s Cache County Horse Show, and I look forward to connecting with participants.

Meet your Chairman, Kassidy Allred!

Hello! I'm Kassidy Allred, and I'm honored to serve as this year's Cache County Fair Horse Show Chairman.

I grew up on a ranch in Coalville, UT, where I spent my childhood riding horses, competing in horse shows, and participating in rodeos. Those experiences sparked a lifelong passion for the horse industry and the incredible community that surrounds it. I later continued that journey as a member of the Utah State University Rodeo Team, where I competed while pursuing my education.

Today, I own several horses and enjoy training, riding, and helping others grow in their horsemanship. I'm also the founder of Fields of Learning, where I develop hands-on agricultural and equine curricula for homeschool students as well as public and private educational institutions across the country. In addition, I serve as a researcher at Utah State University and am currently completing my Ph.D. in Education, with research focused on agricultural education, international educational experiences, and homeschooling.

My goal for the Cache County Fair Horse Show is to create a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable event where exhibitors of all ages and experience levels can learn, compete, and make lasting memories. Whether this is your very first horse show or you've been showing for years, we're grateful you've chosen to spend the weekend with us.

I look forward to seeing you at the fair and wish you the very best of luck!
