Please help and share like crazy so we can find a new kidney for Joy!
If you have found yourself here, then you either know our mom, or you’ve happened upon this post for one reason or another. Either way, what we are trying to do will only be possible with the help of others!
My mom, Joy, has managed kidney disease for many years, however, within the last year things have progressed past the point of management and she is now in need of a kidney. She is currently on dialysis three days a week which has created it’s own struggles, causing migraines and extreme fatigue, so this life saving ask is truly just that, life saving.
If you know my mom, you know she has spent her whole life giving. Giving to her children, her family, her friends, her community, her whole existence has been focused on giving. Now she needs our help in finding someone to give to her, to give her the gift of life.
She has never been one to ask for help, nor has she been one to express the need for anything, which is why WE are asking. My mom is so many things to so many people, and she has so much life left to explore and enjoy, but she can’t do that without this life saving gift.
