Halloween Irish Road Bowling Halloween Irish Road Bowling is a spooky take on the classic Irish Road Bowling! What is Irish Road Bowling? cannonball along a course through Long Branch Park.

Part golf, part bocce, part bowling...the goal is to reach the finish line in the fewest number of throws! Part golf, part bocce, part bowling...the rules are simple - hurl a small 28 oz. Players must throw underhanded. Scoring is similar to golf - the least amount of throws needed to complete the course wins. Teams of four will compete against other teams to see who can cross the finish line in the fewest number of throws.

Our Story

Halloween Irish Road Bowling is an annual event hosted by the Central New York Recreation and Parks Society (CNYRPS). Proceeds from the event benefit the CNYRPS Scholarship Fund. The event takes place at Long Branch Park in early October and provides a spooky twist on the traditional Irish Road Bowling. Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes and prizes are awarded for top score and best costumes.
