The 2026 CabFranc-A-Palooza map is DONE! We’ve been working hard to bring you the biggest and best Palooza yet! Each guest will get a map at check in AND (new this year) an order form so they can keep track of all their favorite Cab Francs and create their own bundle from multiple wineries (available via pickup or shipping depending on where you live).

If you have a ticket for CabFranc-A-Palooza, keep an eye on your email this week - we will send you the map and order form so you can check it out ahead of time.

10 years before opening his dream restaurant, Eduardo Posada honed his skills and his culinary vision through his catering business. hit the Livermore Valley by storm when it opened in 2015. Offering a menu highlighting the Southwestern flavors of his youth, Eduardo’s unique take on a new palette of flavors for Livermore diners and the incredible hospitality delivered by his family, immediately raised the expectations and standards for the entire Valley.

Perhaps the one missing piece to a world-class experience was expertly and passionately filled by sommelier, Jorge Tinoco. A long-time somm at a Livermore wine country restaurant before starting with Posada, Jorge - with the enthusiastic support of the Posada family - created a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list (3 years running) that spans the entire world and pairs perfectly and deliciously with the amazing menu.

And as talented a chef and restaurateur as Eduardo is, he is an even better friend and host. Everyone who comes into his restaurant is treated to an intimate experience, and he is constantly looking to improve the look and feel of Posada Alto Cocina to make his guests that much more comfortable. Eduardo is also a great friend to the wine making community in Livermore, making sure that there is always a large representation of local wines on the wine list to further underscore how amazing his home area is.

We are thrilled to have Domaine du Fossile from Chinon, France at the 2026 CabFranc-A-Palooza in ONE WEEK!

Owners Moira Smullon and Christopher Marshall were both called to the wine life after careers in other industries. Christopher started in IT. His small service company morphed and grew into an enterprise that now spans 4 continents. But at his core he has always wanted to be involved with working on the land. He says is what retirement looks like for a “Canadian with boundless energy.” Moira switched careers to focus on the wine industry in 2013 after living for a year in France. She realized, after returning home to the US, that sharing her love for old world wines – and in particular affordable old world wines – was a calling she couldn’t unhear. After ten years on the importer/distributer side, she is now happy to be on the producer side, allowing her to focus all her energy and passion on creating exquisite wines to share with the world.

They realized their personal journey had wine production in Chinon written into the road map from the start, so when the right place became available, they followed their instincts and followed their hearts to France. From Moira: “We want to contribute to the world in a meaningful way and that, for us, meant becoming producers. Working with a team, creating a product from scratch, delighting ourselves and hopefully others with the wonders that leap directly from the soil – that’s what lights our fire. After many years of starts, stops and detours, we feel that this is our “thing” to share and honored to bring these gifts to the world.”

Domaine du Fossile has sent us two beautiful wines (2018 Villes Vignes and 2019 Ame d’Antan), both 100% Cab Franc and from 55-80 year old vines.

Today’s featured winery is Thumbprint Cellars from Sonoma County!

We’re excited to see which of their Cab Francs they’ll be bringing to CabFranc-A-Palooza on May 31st. From their Cab Franc Rosé, to their delicious chillable and dangerously gulpable NuVo, to their single vineyard Cab Francs and Cab Franc-based blends, we know that whatever they decide to bring will be memorable!

Scott Lindstrom-Dake, winemaker and founder of Thumbprint Cellar, spent a summer in college studying Art History in Florence, Italy, and came back inspired and excited to start making his own wine. One year, while signing one of his ever-popular bottles of wine to give to family and friends, a malfunctioning gold pen spewed ink all over several bottles, resulting in bottles adorned with Scott’s gold thumbprints. This became the turning point of turning a passion into a wine brand.

Scott’s first commercial vintage in 2000 sold out in fewer than six months following its release.

continues to leave its mark on Sonoma County’s Wine Industry. Their grapes are sourced from local growers from Sonoma County’s Dry Creek, Knights, Alexander and Russian River Valleys. Each wine is a “snapshot” of the vineyard and vintage, telling a story about that special place and time. Scott crafts his wines into 13 single-vineyard designated varietals and 5 “infamous” blends, for a total annual production of fewer than 5,000 cases. He personally assures his thumbprint on each bottle represents the wines unique identity and artisan quality expected of a fine wine.

Joining us again at CabFranc-A-Palooza is Rosa Fierro Cellars from Livermore, CA!

Rosa Fierro Cellars is a 100% hispanic woman-owned winery that specializes in making hand crafted, limited production, award winning wines from the Livermore Valley. Their wines are made from small vineyards of 12 acres or less with a limited production of 50 to 200 cases each and are carefully crafted at their production facility in the Livermore Valley.

Winemaker Rosa Fierro (or Rosie, as she is known) first fell in love with wine in 2009 while working in a tasting room at a small winery in Livermore, where she assisted the winemaker with harvesting grapes and making small lots of port in the garage. She was totally hooked and soon began making her own wines at a production facility in Livermore, where she was lucky enough to work side by side with some of the greatest winemakers in Livermore Valley. They became her mentors, teaching and encouraging her to make the highest quality wines possible. In 2014, she opened Rosa Fierro Cellars where her friends and family enjoy helping her with everything winery related. Rosie’s goal is to make great wines and have fun doing it!

Rosie’s urban winery and tasting room is located on the east end of Livermore at “Vasco Row,” a vibrant and unique industrial hub featuring craft wineries and breweries, located just 5 minutes from Livermore’s iconic downtown. (There are 7 wineries from the Vasco Row area participating in CabFranc-A-Palooza and they are also all members of the Cab Franc Guild of the Livermore Valley!)

Fun fact: Next to winemaking, Rosa Fierro’s second passion in life is photography. Visit her tasting room to see examples of her amazing photography!

Definitely a crowd favorite last year, from Calistoga, CA is back!

Loire-inspired wines made under the California sun, owner/winemaker Taylor Berkley Boydstun traveled all corners of the world studying winemaking before starting T. Berkley Wines, his brand that is focused solely on Cab Franc and Chenin Blanc.

From Taylor: “I launched T. Berkley Wines in 2016 with the longer vision of a treatise in Cabernet Franc, a grape that both inspired my winemaking journey and that I feel does not receive the attention that it deserves for all of its undeniable potential. I’ve spent years visiting the Loire Valley and tasting the spectrum of wines made there, and access to a selection of terroir-driven grapes has been integral to my process.”

“For me, the question of how the grapes are grown is fundamental. I got my start in the vineyard at Felton Road in New Zealand, attracted by biodynamic farming practices that reverberated in their final wines, and I have since understood that the role of the winemaker that of shepherd – guiding, correcting, and shaping their raw material. In California in particular, too often grape-growing is separated from the wine-making, but the best wines the world over are dependent on cohesion between these two essential halves. Working with small, independent grape growers who implement sustainable and organic practices in the vineyard is fundamental to my winemaking philosophy, and I’m honored to work with a variety of old vine, sustainable sources from Mendocino, Sonoma, and Napa.”

Apologies to but STEEL, one of the new releases from is a razor sharp, focused wine that screams (in a good way) Cab Franc with every fiber. Delicious, austerely luxurious, aged for 14 months in stainless steel, letting nothing get in the way of 110% cab franc magic!
