The Arkansas Cornbread Festival builds community by raising awareness and funds for local nonprofit organizations while celebrating Southern culture and heritage through food, artisan crafts, and music. Music, enticing aromas, and the promise of family fun has drawn thousands each year to downtown Little Rock. Bonding over cornbread is a southern tradition, and once you’ve had a taste of South Main in Little Rock (SoMa), you’ll have to come back for more. Cornbread and side dish entries are judged by everyone attending the festival as well as a panel of celebrity judges.

Did you know that 1 in 4 Arkansas children face food insecurity? Let that land for a second.

The Arkansas Foodbank distributed almost 40 million pounds of food last year to families across the state. That is neighbors feeding neighbors. That is community in the truest sense of the word.

The Cornbread Festival has always been about bringing people together. This year we're proud that coming together continues to mean doing something meaningful. A portion of proceeds from this year's festival goes directly to the Arkansas Foodbank. 🧡🌽

Did you know that 1 in 5 Arkansans face food insecurity? The Arkansas Foodbank works every single day to make sure families across our state have enough to eat. A festival built around food and community partnering with an organization fighting hunger in our own backyard? It just makes sense!

Like so many of you, we've been sitting with the loss of Dolly Parton this week 🤍.

Cornbread and Dolly Parton make sense together. Both are rooted in the South. Both are simple, honest, and nourishing in a way that goes way beyond food or music. She fed people - with her voice, with books, with a kind of generosity that never asked anything in return. She just brought people to the table and made everyone feel like they belonged.

Rest easy Dolly. 🌽

The Arkansas Cornbread Festival started in 2011 on South Main Street in Little Rock, AR as a celebration of Southern food, community, and the magic of a neighborhood coming together. What began as a modest gathering grew into thousands of people showing up every year for cornbread, music, art, and each other.

After a year away we are back, November 7, 2026! Free admission. Live music. Amateur AND professional cornbread competitions. A vintage market. Arkansas Foodbank as our partner. And so much more still to announce!
