UA-Pulaski Tech will hold its commencement ceremony at 10:30am Saturday, May 16 at Barton Coliseum. More than 1,200 students will be honored this weekend as University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College celebrates the Class of 2026.

Commencement will be livestreamed via the college's website: uaptc.edu and the UA-PTC mobile app via the "current student" and commencement links.

36th Annual Arkansas Big Buck Classic Postponed to February 6–8 Due to Inclement Weather

LITTLE ROCK, AR— The 36th Annual Relyance Bank Arkansas Big Buck Classic presented by Arkansas Best
Chevy Dealers, originally scheduled for January 23–25 at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds, has been
postponed due to forecasted winter weather. The event will now take place February 6–8, 2026 at the
Arkansas State Fairgrounds.

Event organizers made this decision after closely monitoring weather forecasts that indicate
potentially hazardous winter conditions across the region. With thousands of attendees,
competitors, vendors, and families traveling from across Arkansas and neighboring states,
organizers determined that postponing the event was the most responsible course of action.

“It would be irresponsible for us to move forward this weekend with the winter weather threats that
are being forecasted,” said Tommy Murchison, Founder of the Arkansas Big Buck Classic. “The Big
Buck Classic has always put the safety of our attendees, competitors, vendors, and staff first. We
also want to ensure the best overall experience for our patrons and the predicted winter weather
would impact travel, participation, and enjoyment.”

Now in its 36th year, the Arkansas Big Buck Classic is considered the largest outdoor and hunting
show of its kind in the Mid-South. For more than three decades, the event has celebrated Arkansas
hunting traditions, community, and the outdoors, drawing families back year after year.
