I wanted to take a moment to express how truly humbled and honored I am to have been chosen to ring the bell and fold the flag this day on the 25th Anniversary of 911 at Little River, South Carolina Patriot Day Festival. Participating in these traditions on such a solemn day to honor all patriots is something I carry deeply in my heart.

As someone who has served for 21 years in the Military, Auxiliary Police Patrol Captain, County Commissioner, a Lifetime Member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion and now serving, as the CEO, National Commander of Space Air Land Sea (SALS). Being given the responsibility to pay tribute to our fallen heroes and fellow patriots means more to me than words can fully express.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be part of such a meaningful ceremony.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Carl S. MacLeod
