Have you seen our NEW 2026 Canadian Days Parade route??

Changes in Ramsey County policies and the planned road construction along the previous parade path have prompted a new parade route for 2026. The parade committee worked with both city and county staff to design a route that offers ample spectator space east of 35E along Centerville Road, Little Canada Road, Noel Drive, and Spooner Park.

This collaborative effort reflects the community’s dedication to preserving the traditional parade experience and organizers are committed to delivering an enjoyable and memorable event.

Do you know of a youth group that could volunteer at Canadian Days? Our Youth Group Volunteer Application is available now!

We will make donations to qualified youth groups for their volunteer service. We have opportunities available Friday July 31st, Saturday August 1st, and Sunday August 2nd. Tell your sports team leader or other youth group leader to check our website for a full list of volunteer shifts.

🫶It’s National Volunteer Week!🫶
The city is hosting several volunteer events from April 19–25. Community members can sign up to help clean parks, trails, and more! Various opportunities will take place throughout the week at locations and times across the city.

A National Volunteer Week Kick-Off Community Celebration will be held on April 20 at 5:00pm in Lower Spooner Park, where volunteers and the community can connect. Food will be served by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. Visit bit.ly/LCVolunteerWeek26 to sign up for a volunteer event and attend the community celebration. Pre-registration is not required, but preferred!

Congratulations to our 2026 Canadian Days Button Contest Winner William Connel!🍁
William took 1st place honors, and his design will be on the 2026 Canadian Days button. He received a $100 prize and will ride on the button winner float in the Canadian Days Parade on August 2nd. William lives near Spooner Park so is very familiar with Canadian Days and attends North Heights Christian Academy in the 6th grade!

🌟Fun fact: this was the first time we had winners from North Heights Christian Academy in Roseville!

Second place honors is awarded to Claire Connel who is the sister of William, our
first-place winner. She also attends North Heights Christian Academy in the 3rd grade. The 3rd place prize is awarded to 6th grader Peyton Moua in Mr. Kleemeier’s class at Little Canada Elementary.

Presenting the winning Canadian Days button design awards is one of the annual highlights for the Canadian Days Committee. It is fun to see the wide variety of creative entries that are submitted. The Committee wishes to thank all the students who participated in the design contest this year and also want to thank the schools for allowing the Canadian Days Committee the opportunity to promote its button contest at their learning institutions.
