Advertising Sales Representative
Litchfield County Wellness Magazine is looking for a motivated, personable Advertising Sales Representative to help grow our advertising partnerships with local businesses, wellness professionals and entrepreneurs.
This is an independent, flexible sales opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing business and connecting people with opportunities. You will represent a growing local wellness media brand across print, digital and events.
What You'll Do
Identify and prospect potential advertisers and business partners
Build relationships with local businesses, wellness professionals and entrepreneurs
Reach out by phone, email, social media and in person
Present advertising and partnership opportunities and close sales
Follow up consistently and manage your sales pipeline
Develop repeat business and long-term advertiser relationships
Attend select local networking and community events
Help local businesses gain visibility through our growing media and events platform
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident, personable and comfortable initiating conversations
Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently
Comfortable with prospecting, outreach and asking for the sale
Strong follow-through and persistence
Existing relationships and connections within Litchfield County are a major plus
Sales, advertising, marketing, media or business-development experience preferred, but not required
You do not need to come from the publishing or wellness industry. We are looking for someone who knows how to build relationships and generate business.
Compensation
Commission-only with uncapped earning potential.
There is no base salary for this independent contractor position. Commission is paid on collected gross advertising revenue.
There is no cap on earnings.
