‼️Junior Fair Check Update‼️
We know that many of our exhibitors and families are anxiously awaiting their Junior Fair checks, and we completely understand the frustration surrounding the delay. We want to provide some transparency about where things currently stand.
First and foremost, please remember that the individuals handling the Junior Fair Sale are volunteers who also have children involved with the sales and understand the frustration. A tremendous amount of time and effort goes into the sale before, during, and especially after Fair.
Each year, we strongly encourage our buyers to come in following the sale to settle their accounts. We are also available on Sunday following Fair to make payment as convenient as possible.
After the sale, we receive countless phone calls requesting invoices, and those invoices are sent as quickly as possible. We also request credit card information from buyers so that payment can be processed if we do not receive it. Unfortunately, having a card on file does not always mean the information provided is correct or that sufficient funds are available.
This year we were fortunate to have an incredibly successful sale, which also means there is a significant amount of money that must be collected and accounted for before checks can be distributed.
We value our buyers tremendously and never want to upset or discourage the people and businesses who generously support our Junior Fair exhibitors. At the same time, please rest assured that we are doing everything within our ability to collect outstanding balances as quickly as possible. That includes repeated phone calls, emails, text messages, invoices, and follow-ups.
At this time, we are waiting on one remaining buyer to settle their account. That buyer has been contacted by phone, email, and text message, has received their balance, and has assured us that a check is being mailed.
We understand how important these checks are to our exhibitors and families. We are just as eager to get them distributed, but we must make sure the sale is properly settled before doing so.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and grace while our volunteers work to get this process completed. ❤️
And most importantly, thank you to every buyer who supports our Junior Fair exhibitors. Your generosity is what makes such a successful sale possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.
