What an incredible day for our community.

On behalf of The Event Center at Historic B**rmann Plaza, we were truly honored to host the retirement ceremony of Police Chief Matt Alves and the passing of the badge to our new Chief, Zach Eaton.

It was a wall-to-wall packed house, filled with friends, family, colleagues, community leaders, and residents showing their respect, admiration, and appreciation for Chief Alves and the incredible job he has done serving and protecting Lincoln.

Chief Alves, THANK YOU. Thank you for your leadership, your dedication, your fairness, and most importantly, your love for this community.

And to Chief Zach Eaton, congratulations! We look forward to watching you carry on that incredible tradition of leadership, service, hard work, and commitment to the people of Lincoln.
