IT’S ALIVE!! FrankenFest Detroit is TODAY!
👻 When? TODAY!! Saturday, Sept 13th 11am-6pm
🦇 Where? Historic Fort Wayne - 6325 W Jefferson, Detroit Built in 1845, this former military fortress is rich in history (and ghost lore) and provides a stunning home to FrankenFest Detroit.
🐍 What can I expect? TONS of incredible art, aerial shows every hour, reptile adoptions, paranormal workshops, entertainment, killer hearses, cosplay and so much more!
⚰️ Where do we park? There is FREE on site parking. Be aware that the response to this event has been enormous. Carpool if possible.
💀 How much is admission? All of the outdoor sites and sounds are FREE—that includes all of the art, aerial shows, grounds and tunnels for exploring, outdoor displays, hearse fleet, food trucks, etc. Use your money to support artists!
Inside the Barracks Building is a one-time, all day $5 admission—programs, reptile adoptions, indoor displays. See info booth to pay admission.
😈 Is this kid friendly? Yes, but be aware that some artwork is not suitable for the youngest eyes.
🍗 Will there be food? Yes! Food trucks by The Balkan House, Wing Snob, The Cracked Egg, Sucrée Mobile Dessert Parlor and The Little Drink Co.
🐾 Is this pet friendly? Well behaved pets on a leash are allowed outside (not inside Barracks Building unless a service dog). Be mindful that there is very little shade and please pick up after your pet.
🧟♂️ What else should I know? The grounds of Historic Fort Wayne are massive. Be prepared for lots of walking.
