Rocky Needs Surgery

Rocky had more stones so he went to have them broken down. When I got there the Dr felt having surgery might get all of them better plus the cost was a lot less and she knew I’d spent so much lately. But first she wanted to do an ultrasound to see how many were there. When she came back in she looked surprised. And she sure was cause there was no stones. She said she didn’t see this a lot. All she saw was a tiny speck which she felt like was a speck of minerals. She felt like either he passed them or had mixed kinds that would dissolve but she really felt he passed them. But I believe he was healed as there was so many prayers going up for him or God helped him pass them . I believe in Miracles as I’ve seen so many in my own life.

Next Friday little Rocky is having a
Urohydropropulsion which will break up small stones so he can pass them. I’ve followed all the vet’s directions but he still got them. They said this is common and most times it’s nothing you neglected to do. This will be a lifetime. I just need to figure out what works for my little boy. The recovery time is shorter than bladder surgery. Please keep him in your prayers. Also his sister Lexi is having allergy issues. My poor babies are going through it just like their Mom (me). lol. Thanks for all the support and the ladies that are buying some of my doll collection. I’m using all the proceeds for Rocky and Lexi’s vet bills. Again thank you all❤️

Rocky is going for his second Cushing test on July 30th. Please pray God shows us what’s wrong. He’s such a loving baby. He’s laying on my leg right now

Rocky’s leg is doing great.
He goes this week for his abdominal ultrasound to make sure he has no stones. In July he will get another Cushings test. I pray if he is early stages it’s enough on test to start him on meds . His last test showed he was right at the line to diagnose him with Cushings. His tummy is turned into a pot belly and he’s hungry all the time. I want my baby well . I love him so much.

Rocky is doing good with his new leg but his little pot belly still hurts my heart. I pray we can get him on medication soon for this. He goes for another Cushings test at the end of the month. Please keep him in your prayers. If you are able to contribute to his GoFund we’d really appreciate it as this will be another $900 test unless she gives me the discount then it will still be another $500. We’ve got his balance down to around $3500 on Care Credit thanks to all that have given. He will be having some big bills coming in from his Internal specialist concerning this soon. We will keep you posted about his test results . And concerning his leg surgery we are praying he will be released by his surgeon at the end of this month too. Poor little Rocky’s tummy looks so big. I cry when he’s laying on his side cause it’s real big to me. I’ll be glad when 7 weeks are here and we go back to the Internal specialist. He had to go to his regular vet to have his gland expressed today. He never acts like he’s in pain it’s just he has a lot going on. Please pray for him. He’s the sweetest boy I’ve ever seen. He just wants everyone to love him. His tail never stops wagging. I wouldn’t trade him for a million dollars!

Rocky saw knee surgeon today. His knee looks great. He didn’t hop in his office. The surgeon said it’s a 2% chance he tore his meniscus even though he had a tear at surgery and the surgeon fixed it. But as soon as he got home he started hopping at times. He has reached the halfway mark in his surgery. The dr was happy. If he starts hopping a lot they’ll do an ultrasound. He said since he’s only halfway he may have times it’s sore and may hop. He feels like if it’s a meniscus tear he’d be in lots of pain. I’m praying it’s not that or anything bad. I love this little boy. I’ve been real depressed over him hopping and not putting weight on his leg at times. He can’t keep going through pain and surgeries.

I’m in tears. Dr Manson , Rocky’s Internist just called and his Cushing test is inconclusive. To have cushings Rocky’s cortisone level is 3 points away before he can take medication. So we have to do the Cushings test over in four months. I thought I’d get answers and he’d go on medication. She is not worried his organs would fail. She said we just have to keep monitoring to make sure he gets no bladder stones or tears the other ACL in the other leg. So he’s on meds to regulate the PH and I have to keep leash walking him which he hates. So we are still in the “don’t know” zone. The vet said we probably are just catching it in the early stages but she’s sure it’s Cushings. We go back in 2 months for an ultrasound to make sure he’s not forming stones. Just keep praying. And if you can donate even $5 to help it would be appreciated. I’m trying to get bill down more (as it’s still $4,000) so when we have to start the expensive test again it won’t be so overwhelming.
