NEXT WEEK at SCFA: Chicago’s Eli Winter and his trio—featuring Sam Wagster (pedal steel) and Tyler Damon (drums)—blur the lines between folk, rock, jazz, and devotional music in a uniquely adventurous live performance.

This show also features In Passing: the brainchild of Jacob O’Donnell (sax), Ross Whitaker (guitar), and Eli Uttal-Veroff (bass). In Passing is a departure formed from a mutual interest in looped, altered, and esoteric sounds. The result is an improvisatory sound landscape drawing from an abundance of genres and musical influences. Expect a blend of catchy, groove based, and just the right amount of weird.

We regret to announce that Thursday's performance by Joe McPhee, Ken Vandermark, and Chris Corsano has been canceled due to health-related issues. We wish Joe all the best with a swift recovery.

All tickets will be refunded in full; no action is necessary to receive a refund. We do not currently have a rescheduled date for this performance but hope to present this trio at a future time when all are well and the opportunity presents itself.
