📣 Important Course Info:

With all three distances following an out-and-back style course, please make sure you run on the right hand-side of the road to avoid head on collisions with other participants.

There are 6 water stops in total along the Half Marathon route. The 10k participants will have 3 water stops, and the 5k participants will have 2. If you need to access a water stop on the left-hand side of the road, please use extra caution before crossing over to avoid collisions with other runners.

Porta-Johns will be located at water stop 5, by Mount Eden Church, and water stop 3 at the Half Marathon turnaround.

The turnaround location for each distance will be marked with a large feather flag; each flag clearly states which distance it is for. There will be timing points at the 10k turn & Half Marathon turn.

Road closures surrounding the course will go into effect at 6:30 a.m. on race day. You MUST be at Talon by 6:30 a.m. No exceptions.

The road closures are in place for safety and to ensure a punctual 7 a.m. start time.

If you're using a ride share service, please make sure you arrive by 6:30 a.m. so the drivers can leave Talon quickly.

Did you miss the order window for the RTB Brooks 1/4 Zips? Good news!

We've teamed up with Bucks Screen Printing & Embroidery to bring you more Run The Bluegrass swag!

Bucks will be onsite at Talon Winery on Friday, May 15 & race day, May 16, screen printing hoodies and embroidering hats! You can even get the hats customized (up to 16 characters).

These items will only be available at Talon on these days and will be made to order. We strongly encourage you to pre-order your items to guarantee the sizing and color you want. However, there will be some additional inventory available for onsite purchase too!
