LexiCon started out with 3 guys wanting to start a board gaming convention in Lexington. Over the years, we lost and added a few partners and also added a

collection of awesome individuals that wanted to participate in hosting a convention to LexiCon every year. Without all of the great volunteers, LexiCon would never happen. LexiCon is home to our great gaming library with 1,000 + board games. In addition, they have lots of events scheduled over the weekend featuring board games and RPGs! Last year we had over 270 events! This year, we added more space to the convention, because it keeps growing and growing. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GAME WITH YOU! Looking for more info? LexiCon Safe and Inclusive:
LexiCon and CinCityCon (our sister con in Cincinnati) Boardgaming Conventions feel strongly that black lives matter and are disheartened by people that have been harassed, damaged, or lost their lives due to systemic racism. We condemn violence and injustice against people of color or sexual orientation for any reason. Our conventions focus on a safe environment for everyone, regardless of color, religion, and sexual orientation and expect the same from all of our attendees, vendors, and sponsors. Gaming is an opportunity to bring all people together peacefully and we will not support any activities that are unable to support this belief.

Things We Need to Work On:

-Parking
We understand that parking was a problem on Saturday. We worked with the hotel on this, and there were supposed to be more spaces available. Thanks for your wonderful patience on this.

- Policy Change
Children 10 and under will need to be with an adult throughout the convention from now on. LexiCon is not a small con any longer. If we find young children wandering around alone, we will have to ask the parents to leave with their child. One of our staff had a panic attack finding an unaccompanied child far from any parental supervision. Of course that is not the only reason for this policy - we cannot and will not be responsible for unsupervised children. It is not safe.

Thanks! Everyone was awesome. We had very few incidents of significance at the con. We have some ideas for expanding the food selection next year (we hope)!

Thanks for ROCKING (or should I say bricking) everyone.
