Concert Cancellation – October 10

We regret to announce that organist Marc-André Marquis is currently hospitalized and, unfortunately, will be unable to perform his scheduled concert at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul this Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 PM.

We are very sorry to have to cancel this concert and apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause to those who were planning to attend.

Please join us in keeping Marc-André in your thoughts and prayers and wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

We will share any information about a possible rescheduling as soon as it becomes available.

Internationally acclaimed organist Marc-André Marquis will present an entire program devoted to the music of Denis Bédard, one of Canada’s leading contemporary composers for the organ. Bédard’s music is known for its craftsmanship, color, rhythmic energy, and accessibility—and it will provide a wonderful showcase for the Basilica’s magnificent organ.
