My 4th grader was given the task to write a poem at school. While most kids chose pandas, kittens, or vacations, Reese wanted hers to be about Warbird. Reese’s teacher didn’t know anything about this incredible event and said she wouldn’t be much help in bringing this to life. Reese stuck to her guns and worked out a short poem that makes me smile as much as those runners at the finish line. Proud of my girl as she’s definitely one of a kind.

Knowing that sub 12 wasn’t an option for this year the goal was to cross the line before the finish line announcements had to be cut at 10pm. The awesome shoutout from Charlee Marie played in my head all race and she definitely delivered! 🎥: Tyler Wells

2026 is done and DUSTED! Huge shoutout to Charlee Marie and Daniel Weatherwax for pushing us to come do this race as it definitely lived up to the hype. Some of the more fun trails we’ve raced over the years and definitely some of the more technical. Crowds were great, aid stations and crews were on point, and the parties were endless for 110 miles. Major thanks to WARDADDY legend Tyler Wells for crewing for us and keeping us going all day long!
