That's a wrap until 2024. We hope those who joined us had as much fun as we did. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers (and there were a lot!) who gave their time and energy to put on a super fun day for all ages. An event like this does not happen overnight and without the hard work and planning for months, we could not have pulled this off.
A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors Brad Slater Construction, Hagan Farms, Corbett Farms, Builtwell Bank, Pepsi, Flora Mid-South Realty, Floored by Justin, Canine Solutions, Bank of Frankewing, Employee Resources Credit Union, Smith Farms, Loretto Memorial Chapel, INC.Chapel, INC., Heritage Motors, Minor Hill Farm and Home Center, Subway, Light Source 1, Inc., Lawrenceburg Utility SystemsSystems, Mos Pawn, Strickland’s Mobile Welding & RepairWelding, Old Town Trolley Tours, Puente Grande Restaurant, First Farmers Bank and BlackDog Advertising who helped make our second annual Music At The Mill a great success.
A big shout out to the Wilburn Mill Fiber Guild who were out in full force sharing their amazing talent and Chrissa Bledsoe who organized an arts and craft village that was filled with such talented men and women showcasing their talents.
Speaking of talent, we cannot forget the amazing singers and musicians that graced our stages nonstop from 12 pm to 9 pm: Gracie Lee Wilburn, Eli Fox Music, Wildcat Ridge , Take 2, Ben Daniel, Dixie Mafia, Shelby Lee Lowe and Shane Profitt.
Delighting all ages were the folks from Tomberlin Farms with their team of precious ponies giving rides through the grounds.
All of this fun called for nourishment and a thank you to the delicious food trucks that keep the crowds fed, hydrated and happy: Springer's Lemonade and Fried Pies, Frozen Filly Cold Concoctions, Street Treats, Hangry Hut, Cotton Candy Kids, Volunteer Fry Co, Espresso Revival and Fincher Handmade.
Thank you to the Bar B Que contestants who cooked delicious chicken, ribs and Boston butts that filled the air with great smells and our tummies with tasty sandwiches.
Lastly and by no means least, the a huge THANK YOU to the dedicated and hard working men and women of the Crossroads Volunteer Fire & Rescue, who in addition to keeping our community safe 24-7, worked tirelessly for months to make this day a great success. They cooked for days making stews and chilis, ran the children's venue, parked cars, ran shuttles, first aid, beverage tents and kept the grounds safe and clean for all of us. These folks give it their all in everything they do.
We hope to see you back next year!!!
