Super Sunday 5K Trail Run

Super Sunday 5K Trail Run A 5K trail race at Brunswick Nature Park in Winnabow, NC on Superbowl Sunday. The course is suited for beginners. What a perfect way to start Super Sunday.

It's a low cost opportunity to get out and enjoy the trails on a day when we all typically hang around waiting for the big game to begin. Join us for an enjoyable trail run on the wooded paths at Brunswick Nature Park, conveniently located off Route 133 (just15 minutes from downtown Wilmington). It's a "no frills" affair but will feature a complimentary craft beer, no Bug Lite here folks, after th

e run at the newly opened Brunswick Beer Exchange (BBX). Participants must be 21 years or older to qualify for the beer.

Registration will close at midnight tonight or as soon as we reach 100%.There will be no registration on race day. We won't have packet pickup so allow time on race day to get your bib and beer ticket. Brunswick Nature Park is located at 2601 River Road SE (Route 133) in Winnabow. The weather forecast on Sunday looks good with only a slight chance of a shower. We look forward to seeing you.

Super Sunday is a week and a half away. We are nearing capacity and we'll close registration as soon as we reach 100%. If you've been procrastinating you risk being shut out. There will be no late registration on race day.

The Super Sunday 5K will be held on Feb 13th at Brunswick Nature Park. The Wilmington Road Runners Club and SORBA want to thank our friends at BBX, Fleet Feet, Leland Ace Hardware and The Gator Hole for sponsoring the event.
