It's Election Day statewide. Polls are open today from 6 am - 6 pm. ​Grayson County has opted for 7 centrally located voting locations. All 7 locations are open to any registered voter in the County. If you have questions about your registration status, visit GOVOTE.KY.GOV and select "Review Your Registration or Absentee Ballot Status" or as always, call us at the office 270-259-3201

Results can be seen reported live a short time after the polls have closed. Visit GOVOTE.KY.GOV and select "Election Results"

A Leitchfield Tradition: Honoring the Fallen

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, we invite you to join us for a deeply moving Leitchfield tradition: the annual Memorial Day Procession and Ceremony. This is a time our community holds dear and comes together to remember, reflect, and honor the Grayson Countians who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

We are calling on family members and volunteers to take part in this year's procession by carrying a placard in remembrance of a Grayson County service member who died in service to our nation. Walking with these names is a powerful way to ensure their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

To participate, gather starting at 8 AM and arrive by no later than 9:30 AM at the old Fire Station on South Main Street, where the procession will begin at 10 AM and make its way to the Centre on Main. Immediately following the procession, the ceremony will begin at the Centre on Main.

We are honored to welcome Will Williford as this year’s keynote speaker.

Stay with us after the ceremony for entertainment and a free lunch provided by Grayson County Fiscal Court.

Let’s fill the streets with the names of our heroes and show the world that Leitchfield remembers. Whether you are walking in the procession or cheering from the sidewalk, we hope to see you there as we honor our nation's finest.
