REST IN PEACE, BEN “COOTER” JONES

We join fans across the country in remembering Ben Jones, best known to generations as Cooter Davenport on The Dukes of Hazzard.

For millions who grew up watching the show, Cooter’s Garage, the General Lee and the backroads of Hazzard County became part of a simpler time that still brings back a lot of good memories.

Ben Jones carried that legacy with him for decades, embracing the fans who never stopped loving the show and the characters who made it special.

Today, we simply wanted to take a moment to remember a man who brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.

Rest in peace, Ben Jones. Thank you for the memories.
