This post isn’t an easy one…it’s one of the hardest post I have ever had to do.

Most of you who have visited our Christmas on the Ranch, have probably at some point met our little Caffrey. He is the very vocal little boy in the LSU themed wheelchair sitting in Gladly’s General Store or at the CoCoa Saloon.

He is the very reason we started Christmas on the Ranch. You see right after he got sick, in 2020, the first thing he gravitated to was lights and so thereby the thought of Christmas on the Ranch was born.

This Summer, the door opened, and we were blessed with an opportunity to go to an intensive therapy session in Baton Rouge for the month of September for all 3 therapies (Physical, Speech, and Occupational). We didn’t quite know what to expect when we began this journey, but to keep it minimal, it exceeded our expectations.

With this very sudden change for this season, we had to make a hard decision. Would we choose to continue progress with these therapies, or put Christmas on the Ranch on hold for the 2025 Christmas season? After much prayer and thought, we have chosen to put Christmas on the Ranch on hold! As you know, we pour our heart and souls in to this passion and we simply couldn’t do that this year!

Our Caffery is ready and excited for his new therapy and we can’t hold him back! We hope you can all understand our decision was not easy- as we want to do it all! Please continue to pray for our family and this journey!

Christmas on the Ranch 2026 will be here before we know it, bigger and better than ever.

So please stay with us, follow our page, continue to love us as we spend this Christmas Season giving our boy the best gift possible with more specialized therapy sessions.
