Thank you, everyone, for your donations! Year 14 is done; what a great night, loving seeing everyone anchored on the lake and sitting along the shores. This started as a small Paulus family show and has grown with the community's support. The Paulus family/Barbee Chain fireworks is what it's about - my love of fireworks and being able to share it with this awesome chain of lakes. We exceeded our goal, and all the extra will go towards some upgrades to the electronics and supplies for next year! A little secret: 45 minutes before the show, when we went to set the modules to arm, we had a remote control failure. Thank God, with extra money from last year, I purchased a backup remote and were able to get everything rebooted and synched up just in time. I swear I almost threw up! Tonight we're gonna relax and watch the Peninsula fireworks! Two great shows in two nights - Wawasee can't hold a candle to that! Thanks again, and next year's show will be on SATURDAY , JULY 4th.
