Maugle Sierra Vineyards ( www.mauglesierravineyards.com) is a boutique winery nestled in South Eastern Coastal Connecticut. Located in the rural town of Ledyard, Connecticut, on an 18th century 97 acre farm, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is just 10 minutes North of Mystic Seaport, 5 minutes West of Foxwoods and 10 minutes East from the Mohegan Sun casinos. Established in 2002, by Paul and Betty Maugle.

Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium wines. Our first vineyard, planted in 2002 with St. Croix grapes, produces intensively fruit-forward red wine and dessert wines. Our second vineyard was planted in 2007. Presently we have 11 acres in grape production and add more each year. Approximately 60% of our wines are grown in Connecticut and rest are grown within 100 miles of our vineyards. Dr. Maugle, co-founder and winemaker, is known for his chewy, jammy and intensively fruit-forward wines. In 2008, we opened our Boutique winery specializing in our estate St. Croix Wine and our dessert wine “Espiritu de St. Croix” as well as other fine hand crafted wines. We opened our new tasting and event room, the Sierra Room, in December 2010 for your enjoyment. Come enjoy the view today.
