We want to offer a heartfelt thank you to Matt Smith Realty for stepping forward to support this year’s festival.

From the beginning, “Tales from the Front Porch” has been about bringing people together to share stories, music, laughter and a little bit of the culture that makes this corner of Appalachia home. For the past three years, we’ve simply focused on bringing the festival to life and making each year something special.

But support like this matters. It helps us continue building the festival, gives us opportunities to make it better, and reminds us that there are local businesses that believe community events like this are worth supporting.

So we’re especially grateful to Matt Smith Realty for becoming the first sponsor in the three-year history of our festival.

Thank you for believing in “Tales from the Front Porch” and for helping us keep the porch light on.

We’ll see everybody at the Russell Theatre on October 10.

We hope to see YOU on October 10th in downtown Lebanon, VA!

We have a stellar lineup scheduled for this year’s Tales From the Front Porch Storytelling Festival, coming to the historic Russell Theatre in Lebanon, Virginia, on October 10th. We hope YOU will join us for a day of great stories, music, laughter, and a little Appalachian ghost lore. We’d love to see you there!

And a call to our local and regional authors: If you’re an author interested in setting up on the pavilion during the festival to sell your books and meet festivalgoers, now is the time to contact me. We love to have local and regional writers be part of the day!
