***SAVE THE DATE*** We held SFH 2024 in San Antonio, TX and have been working hard behind the scenes to plan another event out that way.

We're excited to announce that for the 2026 San Antonio Marathon (our 3rd marathon/team event), we are also adding a "virtual" way for you to join us by pledging to run/walk the distance to honor our heroes. We will also have SFH finisher medals, jerseys, and tshirts available for purchase in the near future, so stay tuned for updates on those.

For our local San Antonio past participants/supporters- we are working on a little get together/mini event during that weekend and we'd love to see you all out there.

More to come!

Songs For Heroes Family- We are saddened to share the news of SFH 2025 participant (and supporter), Mary Luna Enderle's passing. She was a supporter of many veterans organizations, including Forgotten Coast K9, that provides trained service dogs to Veterans & First Responders, which she shared about during our SFH 2025 concert in Nashville last November.

The below song, "I'm Moving Forward", was the song she co-wrote with our writers Jimmy Nash and John Eason during her session. RIP Mary.

We're excited to announce we're bringing Songs For Heroes back to Nashville in 2026 with the addition of 2 exciting NEW shows!

1) November: Songs For Heroes writing sessions, pairing 8 songwriters with 16 Veterans & First Responders to provide them with music therapy + public concert debut of songs

2) NEW for 2026: Songs For Heroes 'In The Round' is our new monthly series at Red River Nomad. These intimate, listening room-style shows will feature previous SFH songwriters as well as friends of SFH & RRN. A portion of ticket sale proceeds will benefit SFH.

3) NEW for 2026: Songs For Heroes: Unplugged (September). This will also be a listening room-style show in a larger venue with a single headliner and 'in the round'-style opening act featuring 3 local songwriters performing their originals. Event info TBA.

Thank you Lebanon Now for featuring SFH 2025 participant, Jason Golden's, story, that was co-written with Jimmy Nash, Julia Hatfield, and Zachary Henard. Together they wrote "The Goodest Boy You Know" as a tribute to Jason's loyal dog, Tanker.
