One of the fun things about running Nyte Walk is that you never really know what’s going to show up next. 👀

We’re always getting deliveries of weird, wonderful, and downright unique statues, figurines, and all sorts of interesting finds. Some end up finding their way into the trail, some make their way back to our homestead, and others eventually find homes of their own.

We’re always keeping an eye out for things that catch our attention, and we never know where some of these things will end up once they arrive.

So the next time you visit, you might spot something new that wasn’t there before. Who knows what might be waiting for us in the next delivery? 🌙

🎃 We’ve got hundreds of jack-o’-lanterns scattered all over the trail this year! Some are easy to spot, and others are tucked away where you might not notice them right away. Some are carved by us, others are just painted by us.

A lot of carving goes into getting these ready, and we had some extra help this year from our five-year-old son, who helped trace the faces and carve them out, with our two-year-old daughter getting in on the fun, too. ❤️

It’s a lot of pumpkins, a lot of carving, and a whole lot of family time. Here are a few of the faces you’ll find along the trail! 🎃

There’s a lot hiding along the trail.

A lantern glowing between the trees. A giant mushroom tucked away where you wouldn’t expect it. Strange little details you might walk right past if you’re not looking.

Then the trail changes again.

One section feels like a forest from another world. A few minutes later, you’re surrounded by lights, color and things that definitely weren’t there the last time you looked.

That’s part of the fun of Nyte Walk. You never really know what’s around the next turn.

And with this weekend shaping up to be cool, crisp and perfect for a night outside, it might be a good time to come see what you can find.

Deep in the woods of Lebanon, Maine, there are glowing little surprises tucked around almost every corner.

One thing you’ll find a LOT of? Lanterns. 🏮

There are old rustic lanterns, recycled lanterns, jack-o’-lanterns, box lanterns, and all kinds of others scattered throughout the forest. Some are big and bright, while others are tucked away and easy to miss.

And then there are the mushrooms. 🍄

Some are made from foam. Others are built from wicker, concrete, and recycled materials. You’ll find tiny ones, giant ones, colorful ones, and plenty hiding in unexpected spots.

Once you start looking for them, you’ll realize just how many lanterns and mushrooms are glowing throughout the forest.
