Our young artists began their day by exploring acrylic painting on canvas, learning how colors blend, layer, and create depth to bring an underwater world to life.

In the second half of the session, they transformed simple pasta shells into fascinating sea creatures, discovering how everyday materials can be reimagined into beautiful works of art. This mixed-media experience encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, enhanced observation, and inspired children to think beyond conventional art supplies.

Our young artists explored the ancient coiling technique, one of the oldest methods of pottery-making, to create these stunning sculptural vases. Through patience, precision, and creativity, they learned how every carefully rolled coil contributes to the strength, balance, and beauty of the final form.

These elegant vase forms are inspired by the rich ceramic traditions of Africa, where many cultures have used coiling for centuries to create both functional and decorative pottery. By exploring this technique, our students didn’t just learn ceramics—they connected with the history, culture, and craftsmanship of artists from around the world.

Our 6–8-year-old artists explored the exciting world of mixed media art by creating contemporary canvas masterpieces and designing their own miniature LEGO-inspired animals completely from scratch. They then thoughtfully embedded their handcrafted creations into their artwork, transforming a simple canvas into a three-dimensional story.

From clay to confidence – what a beautiful week it has been!
Our teenagers spent an entire week immersed in the art of pottery, transforming lumps of clay into meaningful masterpieces while learning every step of the ceramic journey. From working on the potter’s wheel and mastering techniques like centering, coning, opening, and pulling walls, to trimming and finally glazing their own creations, this experience was so much more than making pottery.
Over the week, we watched them build patience, strengthen problem-solving skills, embrace mistakes, and grow in confidence with every spin of the wheel. There is something truly magical about seeing teenagers trust the process, challenge themselves, and discover that beautiful things take time, persistence, and practice.
Each finished piece tells a story—not just of clay, but of creativity, resilience, and self-belief. We are incredibly proud of every young artist who embraced the journey and created something uniquely their own.

Our 14-year-olds are having an incredible week at camp, fully immersed in the world of hand-built ceramics! Over the last two days, each student took on the exciting challenge of creating a vase taller than 14 inches—a project that required patience, planning, and creativity.

Through this process, they learned essential ceramic techniques such as building in layers, securely joining sections using slip, understanding structural balance, and thoughtfully embellishing their pieces to make them uniquely their own. Projects like these teach so much more than art—they strengthen problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, perseverance, and the ability to trust the creative process from start to finish.

We are so proud of the incredible work they have created and cannot wait to see how the rest of the week unfolds for these young artists!

What a fantastic day at camp as our young creators transformed flat 2D dinosaur puzzle pieces into impressive 3D dinosaur models and then brought them to life with color and creativity! This hands-on STEM activity encouraged children to think like engineers and designers as they carefully followed step-by-step directions, analyzed shapes, and visualized how individual parts fit together to create a complete structure. As they assembled the dinosaurs, they explored concepts of anatomy, balance, spatial awareness, and problem-solving while developing patience, focus, and perseverance. The final painting stage allowed them to add their own creative touch, turning a structured engineering challenge into a unique work of art. Activities like these help children understand that great creations happen one step at a time—through observation, planning.
