2025 was a momentous year for LDF. 💛
We started with one intention: bring our communities together and create a platform where people could have a genuinely great time.
For three years we followed the path laid out for us and built this festival into something that worked. This year, we asked the City to step into the partnership we had been promised, and despite everyone's best efforts, it did not come together. What those three years did prove is that this festival is more than a celebration. It is a real economic driver for Leander, and a platform ready for the City to adopt whenever it chooses.
We set out to achieve that, and we did. So it is with humility and respect that we share that we are folding. LDF will not be returning.
