Race day is almost here — and we want you ready. 🐴⛷️

Swipe through your official Know Before You Go guide and come prepared to experience one of the most unique events in the American West. The course is set on Harrison Avenue, the horses are warmed up, and 25,000 of your closest friends are headed to Leadville.

Here’s what you need to know: the event is FREE for all spectators, racing kicks off at High Noon, parking is limited so plan ahead, and leave the dogs at home — for their safety and the horses’. Oh, and Leadville sits at 10,200 feet. Dress for it.
We’ll see you on the Avenue. 🤠

Attention Competitors:
2 weeks out - time for another update. Snowmaking is on track and Mother Nature now helping. Event remains a GO!
At this time Open and Sport Divisions are FULL.

Novice Division - 7-8 spots remain available for horses/riders (Matching with 2 different skiers each). We will do a lotto/draw of riders in-person at Friday Night (3/6) Registration for those spots. Lotto/draw will happen approximately 7:30pm (so there is NO NEED to arrive/line up early). Chosen riders will then partner with their skiers and enter. We may limit Novice skiers to 1 run to give as many a chance to compete as possible.

Registration for Open/Sport will still plan to start by 6:00.

A month ago, Historic Harrison Ave was shut down for the 77th Annual Leadville Ski Joring! We cannot thank the competitors, spectators, and local community members enough for your support. This year was our largest yet, with over 120+ runs daily and over 20,000 spectators throughout the weekend.
