Snow, laughter, and a well-earned adventure. ❄️

We took our FREIGHT crew to Top of the Rockies Zip Line just outside Leadville for an end-of-season thank-you for all their hard work. Getting to hear everyone giggling and laughing their way down the mountain was easily the best part. 🤍

We love giving our team opportunities to experience the local businesses we recommend to our guests. There’s nothing like being able to say, “We’ve done it, and you’ll love it!”

A huge thank-you to the wonderful team who guided us—and to our own crew for everything you bring to FREIGHT. So glad we got to share this snowy mountain day together.

The Motherlode Holiday Market returns to FREIGHT December 11–13! Join 25+ local and regional vendors for a weekend of thoughtful gifts from local vendors, live holiday music, delicious food, and seasonal cocktails and mocktails.

Browse the historic depot and courtyard, gather by the fire, and stop for a photo with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Bring your friends, bring the family, and make an afternoon of it. ❤️

The Motherlode Holiday Market returns to FREIGHT December 11–13! ✨

Three days of local creativity, thoughtful gifts, and holiday cheer in the heart of Leadville. Stroll through our historic depot, sip festive beverages, enjoy food and live music, and find something special from talented makers across our mountain community. And yes—Santa will be here for photos! 🎅

Calling local makers, artists, and vendors: we’d love to see what you create! Applications are open for a booth at this year’s market. Share your work, connect with holiday shoppers, and help make this a weekend full of discovery and community.

Join us on Friday October 16th for Trivia With Sam to support Lake County Build a Generation. Doors open at 6PM! Entry fee is $10, and the funds raised will be used for the direct benefit of LCBAG to support a sponsored coalition seat—because solving Lake County’s biggest challenges takes all of us.

Too often, complex issues like housing, childcare, and food access are left to elected officials, policymakers, or other experts to solve. But the people who live and work in Lake County have expertise, too. You know what’s happening in your community because you’re living it.

We know that community participation isn’t equally accessible. If you’re working two or more jobs to make ends meet, volunteering your time to a coalition or community effort can be a real sacrifice. That’s why we pay community members for their expertise.

Your support helps make it possible for people with lived experience and deep community knowledge to have a meaningful seat at the table—and be compensated for the time, perspective, and expertise they bring.

Because building solutions that work for Lake County shouldn’t just be the job of a few people. It should be something we build together.

Maddi will guide you step by step as you create your own version of the featured painting. All painting materials are provided—bring a friend and enjoy an evening of painting, sipping, and connecting.

We are hosting some special events in October at FREIGHT - we'd love for you to join us and invite your family and friends!

Bring your pets with you on Thursday, October 1st for the second annual Blessing of the Animals in the Courtyard from 5:30-7PM.

Enjoy time around the fire pit and a beverage at the Boxcar Bar, which will be open most Thursdays-Sundays from 5-9PM
