Lucas Brickman (Neil Simon): age 20 - 30 - The youngest and the newest member of the writing staff for "The Max Prince Show" - a live, hour and a half topical comedy show on NBC in 1953. Lucas is shy, yet ambitious, and wants to prove himself to the other writers, whom he greatly admires.

Max Prince (Sid Caesar): age 40 – 60 - A bigger-than-life comic actor who is the mega-star of a hugely popular television variety show “The Max Prince Show.” Based on Sid Caesar and “Your Show of Shows.” He cannot help but dominate a room entirely

Val Slotsky (Mel Tolkin): age 40 – 50 - The head writer. He emigrated from Russia when he was 12. "He still carries his accent" and is "the most politically aware of all of his writers."

Val - The head writer. He emigrated from Russia when he was 12. "He still carries his accent" and is "the most politically aware of all of his writers."

Kenny - "Neatly dressed...He is surely the most sophisticated of the writers."

Max Prince - "Exudes great strength. His strength comes more from his anger than from his physique. He dominates a room with his personality. You must watch him because he's like a truck you can't get out of the way of. He is quixotic, changing quickly from warm, infectious laughter to sullen anger. He is often monosyllabic, offering a word or two to convey his thoughts."

All Claire Finley wants is the perfect Christmas. She’s hired the celebrated gourmet chef Vilma Hasenpfeffer to prepare her famous Hasenpfeffer Hollandaise Sauce for her dinner guests — the new vicar and his very pregnant wife, Mary. Unfortunately, however, the chef is late, the guests are early and there are burglars loose in the neighborhood. To top it all off, Claire’s father has been hit on the head (with the crèche, no less!) and thinks he’s the leading man in all of the West End theatre productions of the last 30 years! With the help of her quirky brother George, Claire tries to keep everything together as it continues to unravel in this sidesplitting British farce reminiscent of Arsenic and Old Lace. But once the mayhem dies down and the mixed-up identities unscramble, the true Christmas spirit shines bright in a surprise ending, which involves transformation, forgiveness, and a beautiful new beginning.

One last show today of The Tempest, at 2 pm at the Laurel Mill Playhouse. Its been a great show, thanks to all who came out! Look at this cast, they're beautiful.

Last night was the best show yet folks! Only two more performances of The Tempest to go, Saturday and Sunday. An audience member dragged along with a date told us last night that they usually don't even like Shakespeare, but had a great time and was surprised at how easy it was to follow along. So don't miss out!
