The 106th Edition of the South Mississippi Fair is coming October 23–31, and we want everyone to have plenty of time to plan ahead before arriving at the Laurel Fairgrounds.

There are some IMPORTANT changes to patron entry and security this year, so please take a few minutes to review this information and share it with your fair crew!

🚨 IMPORTANT ENTRANCE CHANGE

This year, there will be ONE PUBLIC PATRON ENTRANCE to the South Mississippi Fair.
➡️ ALL patrons MUST enter through the Main Ticket Entrance located in the MAIN PARKING LOT off Don Curt Blvd.

🚫 Gate 3, located at the front of the Magnolia Center, WILL NOT be an entrance for fair patrons.

Please plan to enter the main parking lot from Don Curt Blvd., park, and proceed through the designated security tent and Main Ticket Entrance.

🚗 PARKING IS FREE!
🔐 SECURITY — YOUR SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

Every patron will be required to go through security before entering the Fair.

This year, we've made additional investments in guest safety, including:
🔹 State-of-the-art weapon detection systems
🔹 Enhanced lighting throughout the fairgrounds
🔹 Expanded security patrols throughout the property
🔹 Active monitoring and patrol of the fairgrounds perimeter and fencing

We encourage everyone to allow a little extra time when arriving and cooperate with
security personnel as you enter.

👜 CLEAR BAG POLICY

A Clear Bag Policy will be in effect.
✅ Clear bags are permitted.
✅ Small clutches no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" are permitted.
✅ Medically necessary bags are permitted after inspection by security.
👶 Diaper bags are permitted as long as the child requiring the bag is present. All diaper bags will be searched by security prior to entry.

👨‍👩‍👧 MINOR POLICY
Guests under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older at all times.
Any guest may be required to provide proof of age to security personnel.
