Our goal at LIFF is to create an exciting, professional and prestigious event that operates as a platform for U.S. and International filmmakers to showcase their films, network with fellow filmmakers and enjoy the casinos and attractions of Laughlin, Nevada. LIFF offers the residents of Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ the opportunity to experience cinema from a wide range of genres and subjects
not normally available in the area, including a "LIFF Picks" showcase screening non-competitive films selected by the Festival Committee. Films are screened in state-of-the-art digital theaters in the heart of Laughlin over four days, in conjunction with social networking events, film workshops/panels and our annual Saturday Night Awards Show. The festival is traditionally kicked off Thursday night with opening night Red Carpet arrivals for the Opening Night Film Screening, followed by a filmmaker Q&A and sponsored afterparty. Social events during LIFF include: the Friday Night Oktoberfest Party Party & photo booth, Friday & Saturday Afternoon Filmmaking Workshops, Saturday night Awards Ceremony & after-party, and a Sunday Breakfast Director / Producer Panel discussion. We also have a Filmmaker's lounge in the Tropicana Casino and various large private suites in our host Casinos for networking events. LIFF’s primary focus is to attract passionate filmmakers and quality films from all around the world to participate in our annual film festival competition. In addition we provide the Laughlin community with not only great films, but also with memorable experiences with filmmakers from all over the world.
