As the 48th Lathrop Antique Car, Tractor, & Engine Show comes to a close, we would like to thank our dedicated volunteers for the countless hours put in. Without them, shows like this would never take place! One spotlight needs to shine on the gentleman Center Stage, Jim Plowman. For roughly 5 decades, Jim has worked tirelessly day in and day out doing everything a leader does in addition to everything a worker does. The Lathrop Antique Show Grounds continues to exist and preserves history for future generations of the area because he works like a mule. We volunteers cannot hold a candle to him no matter how hard we try! If you see him at an event, know he has worked hard before, during, after, and every hour in between. If you enjoyed yourself, give him a wave and a thank you!
