Wanted to share something very cool and very special for Barks & Bourbon.

Dawn has been on a podcast called "Beyond The Mash" a few times discussing Barks & Bourbon and how bourbon is helping support our programs to help pets and pet owners in our community.

Beyond the Mash is the work of a wh***ey enthusiast that explores all the of the wonderful & fascinating aspects of the world of wh***ey, and the people in it which includes the charitable works that so many bourbon enthusiasts care about.

We are super honored that Michael the host is graciously interested in our event and has included Barks & Bourbon in a few episodes. Most recently, Michael and a dear friend of Dawn's visited the 10th Mountain Wh***ey and Spirits Distillery in Colorado!! Enjoy the video showing them picking and bottling the donation....

What makes this special you ask? Well during the tour, Michael and Cheri got to hand pick the barrel for the bourbon for a bottle they are generously donating to Barks & Bourbon!! So be prepared to bid on an exclusive bottle of bourbon by 10th Mountain Wh***ey and Spirits coming all the way from Colorado.

We are excited to say that both Michael coming all the way from Florida and Cheri from Colorado will be attending Barks & Bourbon this year.

Good morning!! We are getting excited for Barks & Bourbon. It will be held on Thursday September 17th at the beautiful Belle Meadows Farm. We are busy working on securing some great bourbon vendors (might see a new name or two) and many returning ones.

Mark your calendar for this year's fun evening! We look forward to seeing everyone there. Stay tuned for updates about when tickets will go on sale and as we start introducing our bourbon vendors who can't wait to chat with you and share their brands.

While "bourbon" is in our name - we do have a few more spirits to taste tonight.

Tennessee Craft Distributors will be onsite with a few tequila and w**e offerings. Tequila Cabal will have a presence with their Blanco, Reposado, Anejo, and Mezcal Salmiana.

In addition, you'll also find a few w**e selections at their table as well - Fratelli Cosmo Prosecco, Ferrante Sangiovese, Ferrante Pinot Grigio.

The good folks at Prohibition Home Brewing & Premium ci**rs will be bringing a house cigar with 3+ year aged triple Nicaraguan leaf and also sample of their Jolly Rancher and Chocolate Raspberry Merlot!
