At The Masters Tour, the health and safety of your horses is our top priority. To ensure a safe environment for every competitor, we are implementing enhanced Equine Health & Safety Protocols.
🔒 Event Health & Safety Measures
• Stalls and high-traffic areas will be disinfected regularly
• No community water troughs — bring your own buckets and do not share
• Health certificates will be checked upon arrival before unloading your horse
• Visit the Nevada agriculture department website at: agri.nv.go/Animals/Animal_Disease/Import_Requirements
• Veterinarian on standby
• Stalls have not been used since last year’s Masters Tour
• 10x10 stalls with vertical/horizontal bars on the top half; tarps will be allowed inside stalls to separate your horses from neighboring horses
• Brand-new arena that has never had horses in it
• Fresh dirt hauled in and prepared for this event
• No tying horses in a row along the arena or warm-up fencing
🩺 EHV Information
WPRA contestants from Waco were issued a hold through December 2.
Our event begins December 4 (Breakaway) and December 7 (Team Roping), meaning the recommended quarantine period will have passed.
EHV has been present in the equine industry for decades. Please follow all veterinarian-recommended guidelines.
If your horse may have been exposed, the most responsible action is not to bring it.
📌 Entry Updates
Most draw-outs have been in Breakaway, with many rolling to 2026.
Team Roping draw-outs to date: 6 total (one 11.5 team and four truck-roping runs).
Breakaway ropers may now enter TWO times in the Open and Youth Elite.
• Books are open for anyone who has not entered and for those who want to enter a second time
• Two-time entrants rope once in Pool A and once in Pool B
• Books close when full
💰 Guaranteed Payouts
All cash and prizes are guaranteed as advertised:
• Open Elite Breakaway: $45,000 to the Average Winner
• Youth Elite Breakaway: $20,000 to the Average Winner
• Youth World Championships Team Roping: $10,000 to the Average Winner in BOTH the 10.5 and Open
• #9.5 & #10.5 Cash Ropings: $5000 to the High Point Roper in BOTH Ropings
We have over $350,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes before the first run.
