The graduation ceremony at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on Sunday, May 17 celebrates only those students graduating from the College of Fine Arts (CFA). Because it is limited to the college, it will be a very intimate affair honoring CFA graduates; graduates will also receive special gifts. Find out more:

Acclaimed actress, model, and best-selling author Brooke Shields will headline the next installment of the UNLV Barrick Lecture Series at 7:30 p.m. on April 20 in the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Tickets are limited to two per-person and must be picked up in person at the UNLV Performing Arts Center (PAC) Box Office. The PAC box office is located off of Cottage Grove Avenue at S. Maryland Parkway, on UNLV's main campus. The box office is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday. Contact the PAC box office at (702) 895-2787 or visit the PAC website for more details.

The New York Philharmonic String Quartet debuted in John Adams’ Absolute Jest in New York in March 2017. Palm Beach Daily News says, “the New York ensemble performed it with romantic élan and grace — each of its members’ solos tackled with utmost taste and technical precision.” See them live at Artemus W.
