This year’s festival will feature all of Disney’s “Meant To Be” romantic comedy series authors — Christina Lauren, Zoraida Córdova, Jesse Q. Sutanto and The New York Times Bestselling authors Jasmine Guillory and Julie Murphy — on a panel together for the first time.

Each book in the “Meant To Be” series is written by a different author, offering contemporary romance versions of classic Disney animated fairy tales for an adult audience. The series is connected thematically, with every volume placing a love story from one of Disney’s popular animated films in the modern world, although the novels themselves are stand-alone stories. Together at last, these authors will discuss their books, personal stories, where they find inspiration, how they collaborate, which genres work for them, and so much more.

Choose which authors you want to meet, which panels appeal to you, and plan how you will enjoy the festival Oct. 18. More than 100 published authors will participate this year. Authors will be available to sign their books after participating in their panels.

The Las Vegas Book Festival is presented by the city of Las Vegas, with support from media sponsors KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas, AudacyLV, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, gold sponsor NV Energy, and silver sponsors Nevada Public Radio and Plaza Hotel & Casino. The festival also includes support from Nevada Humanities, the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Clark County, Nevada Parks & Recreation.
