La Porte Triathlon

The 45th Annual La Porte County Sprint Triathlon will consist of a 500 meter lake swim, a 12.4 mile bike and a 3.4 mile run.

The course begins in Soldiers Memorial Park at the Stone Lake Beach House and winds through scenic La Porte County.

You can race La Porte Tri on Saturday and then head up to the West Michigan lakeshore and take on our partner event, the picturesque Grand Haven Triathlon on Sunday, July 12!

Run Course Recon 👀

The sprint run course is a fast and flat loop around Stone Lake and Soliders Memorial Park. It totals 3.1 miles.

Bike Course Recon 👀

The sprint bike course consists of a 12.6-mile out-and-back route. With gradual elevation, the course is fairly flat and perfect for all skill levels.

Swim Course Recon 👀

The swim is a 500-yard swim with a time trial beach start on Stone Lake. Athletes will be let off 2-3 swimmers at a time every 5-3 seconds. They will do one loop and return back to the beach to run up into transition.
