Parish President Hotard Hosts Record-Breaking 50th Annual Andouille Festival
Parish President Jaclyn Hotard is celebrating a record-breaking 50th Annual Andouille Festival weekend that drew thousands of residents and visitors to St. John the Baptist Parish.
“This year’s Andouille Festival was truly one for the record books,” said President Hotard. “From the incredible turnout to the amazing food, entertainment, and family fun, our community showed exactly what makes St. John Parish so special.”
The three-day celebration at Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park in LaPlace was filled with live music, Gospel Stage, delicious food, local vendors, and community pride. For the first time ever, the annual Andouille Run/Walk reached 200 participants, marking the largest turnout in the event’s history.
President Hotard also expressed appreciation to all those who made the festival possible. “Thank you to our vendors, sponsors, performers, volunteers, and Parish staff who worked tirelessly to ensure this milestone year was safe, successful, and memorable for everyone,” she said.
“This festival continues to unite our community year after year — and the 50th anniversary was no exception. It was a beautiful reminder of our people, our pride, and our progress.”
