Our friends at The Capital Area Literacy Coalition / The Reading People are joining us for this year’s Lansing Lit Festival by opening the doors to their book building Friday, September 19 from 11 am to 4 pm to give away free books for anyone who stops by!
No catch, no strings attached–visit The Reading People at 1028 E Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48906 and you can take a book from their book building home for free.
The Reading People (also known as the Capital Area Literacy Coalition) is a nonprofit in Lansing that provides free educational services to anyone who needs them. 2025 is their 40th year in operation.
