Langford Northeast Nationals Tractor Pull

10/08/2026

This past Saturday, we had our annual Tractor Pull Appreciation Dinner! This is an event we host every year to show our appreciation to all of our dedicated volunteers for all of their hard work!

We had an amazing time enjoying drinks and an incredible dinner catered by the one and only Three Star Joe. We couldn’t put on this event without each and every one of you!

This year, we honored one of our members, Brian Schmitt, for all of his hard work and commitment to the 80th Anniversary Book. Brian’s father was a huge part of the 60th Anniversary Book, so it’s only fitting that Brian had such a huge role in the 80th!

We also recognized the WNY Pro Pullers. What started out as some farm boys trying to get involved with pulling has developed into an amazing organization with 30 years of pulling under its belt. They have been involved in tractor pulling in Langford for many, many years! They are your local go-to pulling association and are also a huge part of local farm stock pulling, once again helping to grow the sport in our area.

Also honored was Randy Geiger. Randy and his whole family are a part of what he does. Randy got his love of tractors and pulling from his father and lifetime member, Ronnie. Just as Ronnie passed his love of tractors and pulling on to Randy, Randy passed it on to his son, RJ, who is a regular puller with his son, Trenton. Randy is a huge participant in our farm stock classes, even winning King of the Hill and always being a force to be reckoned with.

Last but certainly not least, we recognized Eric Gawron as our Sponsor of the Year! Eric is the proud owner of Eden Dairy Queen and has graciously been an amazing sponsor for many years. Not only is he a major sponsor, but you may even recall seeing the Dairy Queen logo on the roller!

Just like the rollers down the track, his ice cream machines never stop rolling and putting out an amazing product! 🍦

So once again, THANK YOU to our amazing team of volunteers for everything you do to help us put on the most amazing show for our amazing fans, all while raising money for the Langford New Oregon Volunteer Fire Department!

We truly couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

The dust has settled, the mud has dried, and you can hardly even tell the tractor pull came through town. All we’re left with are the memories of an absolutely phenomenal weekend!

The Langford New Oregon Volunteer Fire Department would like to send a HUGE thank-you to all of our volunteers, vendors, sponsors, competitors, and fans who helped make this weekend so incredible!

Our fans absolutely packed the house on Saturday! You kept the gates, b**r tent, and food tents busy all night long—and that’s exactly what we love to see! Even our crew parking cars was scrambling to keep up!

Then, despite us canceling the major portion of Sunday’s show and the uncertainty of the weather, so many of you came back on Sunday. We had an absolute blast! It was truly an amazing feeling to be able to give back to our community, especially while celebrating our 80th anniversary.

We know that many of our members who have sadly passed away were looking down from heaven, smiling and cheering us on. ❤️

This weekend wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible amount of hard work, dedication, and support from so many people. From our volunteers working behind the scenes to every competitor, vendor, sponsor, and fan who came through the gates—we truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Please stay tuned as we continue to share pictures, memories, and updates from an unforgettable weekend.

THANK YOU, LANGFORD! ❤️🇺🇸

As our photographers from the weekend start posting pictures, please remember that they are small businesses and do us a great service documenting our event as all others. Please support their craft by ordering pictures from their sites or request to purchase the digital copies. Don’t crop out water marks or copy pictures without sharing the photo credit!!!

Just a little Sunday Pull recap. As you all saw we posted we sadly canceled the Full Pull Productions portion of today's show and went with a farm stock ish Sunday funday Pull. First we'd like to thank our pullers who came from all around including Pennsylvania. Some with minimal notice as their classes weren't originally scheduled. The WNY Pro Pullers did an amazing job organizing and throwing together some classes based on whatever showed up and wanted to hook!! We had a wide variety of tractors and age groups pulling, thanks for being so easy and grateful to hook. We has no idea how many we would be able to get in. But luckily we were able to complete all the classes. Huge shout out to all the fans who still came out even with the uncertainty!! And those fans came out hungry!! Our hardworking crew under the chicken pit put decades of knowledge and experience to the test and cooked all the chicken dinners and wings we had!! And you guys bought them all!! May not have been what we planned or anticipated or all wanted but we made the most of it and we're able to give back to our fans by doing a free tractor pull and honor our history of 80 years of pulling!! Posted are some of the winners of the classes! Thanks and stay tuned
