October is filled with many great events to support local organizations.

Supporting local means more than shopping local.
It means showing up.

It’s buying a ticket to a fundraiser, stopping by a vendor event, listening to a local musician, sharing someone’s post, donating to a cause, attending a school or sports fundraiser, or simply telling a friend about a small business you love.

When you support something local, you’re supporting real people in your own community. You’re helping a small business keep its doors open. You’re helping a team raise money, an organization continue its mission, an artist keep performing, or a local family keep building something they believe in.

One of my favorite parts of The Venue at Skyline has been watching all of these pieces come together under one roof. We may host the event, but you—the people who show up—are what make it successful.

So this October, when you see a local event, fundraiser, business, musician, vendor, or organization pop up in your feed, consider showing up for them. Even a share, a comment, or an invitation to a friend can make a difference.
Strong communities don’t just happen. They’re built when we choose to support one another.
And I’m incredibly grateful that The Venue gets to be a small part of that
