To our amazing Wands & Wizards Weekend community,
After a lot of discussion and consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision not to hold Wands & Wizards Weekend in 2026.
Over the past few years, attendance has steadily declined, and unfortunately we reached a point where we can no longer organize the event at the level our community deserves. This was not an easy decision, because this event has always been about bringing magic, creativity, and community to Fairfield County and beyond in a fun and memorable way.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported Wands & Wizards Weekend over the years — the families, visitors, volunteers, and especially the Fairfield County District Library and other local businesses who helped make the event possible. Your enthusiasm and support made the event what it was, and we are incredibly grateful for every costume, wand, photo, laugh, and memory shared along the way.
While we are taking a break for now, we are hopeful this is not the end. If there is enough interest and support in the future, we would love to bring Wands & Wizards Weekend back within the next couple of years.
Thank you again for being part of the magic with us. ✨
