🌈 Happy Pride Month, Lancaster! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

June is here, and with it comes a month to celebrate joy, resilience, visibility, community, and the countless LGBTQIA+ people who have shaped our past and continue building our future.
Pride is celebration, but it’s also reflection. It’s a reminder of the progress that’s been made, the work that still lies ahead, and the importance of creating spaces where people can live openly, authentically, and safely. Pride Month gives us an opportunity to come together, support one another, uplift q***r voices, and recognize that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated.

At Lancaster Pride, we’re looking forward to a month full of connection and community. We’re excited to celebrate with events we’re hosting throughout June - from gatherings, classes, and creative experiences to our 18th annual Pride Festival on June 20 - and we’re equally excited to show up for and support the incredible LGBTQIA+ organizations, artists, businesses, and community groups creating meaningful spaces all across Lancaster County.

Whether this is your first Pride or your fiftieth, whether you celebrate loudly or quietly, know that you belong here.

Happy Pride Month - we can’t wait to celebrate with you all month long. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Another round of appreciation for the incredible sponsors helping make Lancaster Pride possible 🌈❤️

As we count down to our 18th annual Pride Festival on June 20th, we’re feeling especially grateful for the businesses, organizations, and community partners who have stepped up to support this year’s celebration.

Your support doesn’t just help create an unforgettable festival experience - it helps strengthen spaces for connection, visibility, joy, and community throughout Lancaster County.

Because of sponsors and donors like these, we’re proud to keep Lancaster Pride Festival completely FREE to attend for the second year in a row. 🎉

Interested in getting involved? There’s still time to support Lancaster Pride as a festival sponsor - and if you’re looking to make an impact beyond June, we also offer year-round sponsorship opportunities that help sustain LGBTQIA+ events, programs, and community spaces all year long.

✨ Headliner Announcement ✨
We’re beyond excited to announce that Nes will be joining us as both a featured host and our official headline performer at the 2026 Lancaster Pride Festival!

The reigning Miss Lancaster Pride for the second consecutive year, Nes has become known for her unique and intentional style, bringing the belief that drag should be more than performing a song… it should be an experience. 🌈🎤

A proud transgender Latinx woman, Nes has made an incredible impact both on and off the stage. She was formally recognized at the Pennsylvania State Capitol for her contributions to the LGBTQ+ community and captured three titles in a single year - two of them within just 24 hours!

You may also recognize Nes from the documentary Amish Country Q***r, celebrating the vibrant LGBTQ+ community right here in Lancaster.
From helping guide us through the day’s celebration to performing twice on the Main Stage, we can’t wait to watch Nes at the Lancaster Pride Festival 2026.
📅 Saturday, June 20, 2026
📍 Penn Medicine Park
💲 Free to attend

Today, we remember and honor the service members who gave their lives while serving our country. 🇺🇸

On Memorial Day, we also hold space for the LGBTQIA+ members of the military whose courage, sacrifice, and stories have not always been fully recognized or safely shared.

To those we have lost, including those who served in silence, those who faced discrimination, and those who never had the chance to live openly as themselves, we remember you with gratitude and respect.

Wishing our community a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

💖💛💙 Today is Pansexual & Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day. 💖💛💙

Today is a chance to celebrate and uplift pansexual and panromantic people in our community while raising awareness and understanding around identities that are often misunderstood.

Pansexuality is generally described as attraction to people regardless of gender or across all genders. While some people may use both bisexual and pansexual labels, others connect strongly with one identity over another based on how they experience attraction and how they describe themselves. Neither identity is “more inclusive” or “more valid” than the other - both are real, meaningful, and deeply personal.

Panromantic people may experience romantic attraction regardless of gender, whether or not that aligns with their sexual orientation.

At Lancaster Pride, we believe there is room for everyone to define themselves in the ways that feel most authentic and affirming to them.

To our pansexual and panromantic community members: we see you, we celebrate you, and we’re grateful you’re part of this community. 💖💛💙
