This year, the Lancaster Fair was proud to hold a special Horse Pull in memory of Bob Gainer, a longtime Director and dedicated member of our fair family.

Bob gave many years of hard work and commitment to the Lancaster Fair. As a Director, he played an important role in overseeing the upkeep of our fairgrounds and was always willing to do what needed to be done to make the fair a success.

Those who knew Bob also knew his great sense of humor. He could work hard, make you laugh, and leave behind a story or two along the way.

The Lancaster Fair is what it is today because of people like Bob who gave their time, energy, and heart to this organization.

We were honored to remember Bob in a place that meant so much to him. His contributions to the Lancaster Fair will not be forgotten. ❤️

In loving memory of Bob Gainer — longtime Director, hardworking friend, and forever part of the Lancaster Fair family.

🎡 THANK YOU FROM THE LANCASTER FAIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS 🎡

As another Lancaster Fair comes to a close, the Board of Directors would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s fair possible.
It truly takes an entire community to bring the Lancaster Fair to life, and we simply couldn’t do it without you.

❤️ To our volunteers — thank you for the countless hours, hard work, and dedication you give to the fair.

❤️ To our employees — thank you for working long days and always being willing to step in wherever needed.

🎠 To Smokey’s Greater Shows — thank you for once again bringing the midway to life! From the rides and games to the lights and excitement, you are a huge part of the Lancaster Fair experience, and we appreciate your crew and everything you do to help make fair week so special.

❤️ To our exhibitors, competitors, vendors, concessionaires, entertainers, sponsors, and community partners — thank you for being such an important part of what makes the Lancaster Fair special year after year.

And most importantly, thank you to our fairgoers! Whether you have been coming for generations or this was your first Lancaster Fair, your support allows this North Country tradition to continue.
There are so many people working behind the scenes before, during, and after fair week, and we are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

From all of us on the Lancaster Fair Board of Directors, thank you for another wonderful fair and for continuing to support a North Country tradition that means so much to our community.
We couldn’t do it without all of you! ❤️
