We've lost two champions recently. 1978 Street Stock champion Mike Scroger #92 passed away in late September. 1989 Street Stock champion Mel Raab #83 passed away yesterday. Rest in peace, gentlemen.

He represented the camaraderie and passion that have always made short track racing special, earning the friendship and respect of competitors and fans throughout the region.
